  Laura De Paoli (trainer teacher  Comenius Project -Playweb) teaches Technology and ICT at Scuola “Casorati” in Pavia. She is a trainer of ECDL and she is specialized in Web administration. She has been involved in several multilateral projects on Etwinning platform www.etwinning.net.

Fabrizia Bensi teaches English at Scuola “Casorati” in Pavia. She is involved in projects regarding English language certifications (KET) and in school projects concerning the use of technology in the teaching of English (IW, Internet etc). She has been teaching in this school since 2010.

Paola Papa teaches French at Scuola “Casorati”, she has taken a degree also in Spanish and has qualified  as a teacher for pupils with special needs. She is involved in the Students’ Exchange project connected to Comenius (Italy-France).She has been teaching in this school since 2009.

Maria Luisa Marconi teaches Maths and Science at Scuola Casorati, she is the deputy headmistress, she is responsible for the multimedia lab and many projects concerning the development of technology (New technologies) in the school as well as science projects.

Irene Bruno teaches Literary Subjects at Scuola Casorati, she is responsible for the POF (Plan of the educational offer of the school), she has been teaching here since 2010. She has taken  her degree in Philosophy at” Università Federico II” in Neaples.

 

Valentina Percivalle is psychologist, expert in education, learning process and media education. Works in several schools and institutions as school psychologist and Media Educator. Collaborates with CEM (Centre of Media Education of Pavia) for Italian and European project in the field of education about and through new media technologies.

Bozzia Francesca Technology teacher, has been  teaching for  many years and is involved in many projects.

Bossi Maria Teresa Maths teacher, has already took part in students’ exchange projects  and is very interested in  the use of technology in didactics.

Canato Emma  teaches to pupils with special needs and is particularly interested in the use of  technology in didactics.

Di Pietro Rita teaches Italian and is interested in technology and its use in every learning subjects and  she is working on projects concerning the integration of foreign students  in our school.

Galimberti Michela is a History and Italian teacher and interested in technology and many school projects

Moncalaro Raffaella teaches literary subjects and is involved in many school projects above all vocational guidance. She was involved in the  project Cl@ss 2.0

Monetti Stefano teaches Italian and History and is interested in the use of technology  in didactics he has been teaching here since September.

Muggia Anna teaches literary subjects, she is very interested in the use of computer in didactics and  she is working on projects concerning the integration of foreign students in our school.

Perego Laura teaches literary subjects and is involved in many school projects and interested in the use of technology in didactics.

Vittadini Monica is an English teacher and she is interested in the use of technology in the language teaching, she has been teaching in our school since last year.

Vecchi Laura teaches Italian, History and Geography, she is involved in school projects, interested in new didactics methodology and is responsible for the school library. She has been teaching in our school since 2012.

 

Description:

Our school is situated in the historical centre of Pavia, a town in the north of Italy on the river Ticino, not far from Milan.

Scuola Casorati is a secondary school (Scuola Secondaria Statale di primo grado), the pupils are aged from 11 to 13, it is the second level of education after the primary school.

It is located on two seats Via Volta and Via Teodorico and both of them are housed in two ancient historical buildings, monasteries assigned to public use since 1863.

The school has been renovated many times so today modern laboratories are available for students:

- science lab

- multimedia lab,

- rooms for pupils with special needs

- gyms 

- music rooms

There are about thirty classrooms, and about 750 pupils and 80 teachers.

In our school there are two music sections and every year the teachers prepare several musical events. Pupils learn two foreign languages English (compulsory), French or Spanish (on  their choice), ICT, Maths, Literary school subjects, Religion (optional), Art, P.E. and Music. The school is involved in many projects and since 2012 in Comenius-PLAYWEB.
